Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using GOGI - Pets Management, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the service.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account security.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
One person may hold only one account. Creating multiple accounts may result in termination.

3. User Responsibilities

When using the service, you agree to:

Use the service only for its intended purpose - managing pet records and related information.
Not upload content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringes on the rights of others.
Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, other users' data, or the underlying systems.
Not use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the service without prior written permission.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Subscription and Payments

After a free trial period of 14 days, a monthly subscription is required to continue using the service. The minimum subscription amount is EUR 1 per month.

Payments are processed securely through PayPal. We do not store your payment card or bank details.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

5. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into the service, including pet profiles, health records, events, documents, and photos. We do not claim any rights over your content.

You may export your data at any time using the data export feature in your account settings, and you may request permanent deletion of all your data.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not use the service to:

Store, transmit, or distribute illegal, harmful, or objectionable content.
Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
Attempt to disrupt the service or compromise its security.
Use the service for commercial purposes unrelated to pet management without permission.
Circumvent any access restrictions, rate limits, or security measures.

7. Intellectual Property

The GOGI - Pets Management application, including its design, code, logos, and documentation, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service without prior written permission.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep the service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We may perform maintenance, updates, or improvements that require temporary downtime. We will endeavour to notify users in advance of planned maintenance where possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or interruption of service.

If you enable document encryption and lose your password, we cannot recover encrypted documents. You accept this risk when enabling the encryption feature.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

You violate these Terms of Service or engage in conduct harmful to the service or other users.
Your account remains inactive for an extended period (we will attempt to notify you before deletion).

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our systems.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will endeavour to notify registered users of significant changes via email.
