Release 2026010 brings a Maintenance tab for database and document backups, a live Database log viewer, expanded approvals review flow, and a range of UI refinements including stacked date/time cells, auto-sizing table columns, and improved translation toggles on edit pages.

Photo submissions for vets, shops and services; social media publishing to Facebook and Instagram via Make.com; new Release Notes section; admin user detail page; story social opt-in; and dozens of improvements and fixes across the app.

A community-driven pet services directory, improved requests tracking, bookmark clarity, and various fixes.

Notes and opening hours are now accessible directly from list cards. New features include a Pet Journal, an AI Assistant, and smart Help search. PDF exports now embed vaccination certificates, weekly medications show the scheduled day, and clinic branches appear in tables. Plus species photo fallback, mixed breed display improvements, a Discard button, and various fixes.

Medication dose logging with colour-coded slot pills and a home page widget, configurable push notifications per type and per pet ownership, PDF exports for pet lists and health metrics, community submission of vet clinics and supplier shops, a branded QR code, folder-tab navigation, full-size photo overlays, and a smarter date picker.

Smarter filter dropdowns with "Any" defaults and idle-filter hatching, cascading vet specialisation filter, improved opening hours and rating popups, combo-box account preferences, and subscription expiry date shown in profile.

Major redesign of the vet and clinic directory, supplier directory improvements, ratings per clinic and shop, live GPS nearest sorting, dashboard action items, pet PDF QR code, and global search expanded.

Global supplier directory with bookmarks, ratings, and admin approval workflow. Supplier shops support multiple locations. Pet, vet, supplier, and shop detail pages redesigned with a consistent circular photo layout.

Disease tracking with test result badges, event start and end dates, revamped vet and supplier data with structured addresses, geocoding with radius search, supplier shop locations, and a visual refresh.

Major UI update: all dropdowns replaced with searchable combo boxes, clear and undo buttons on text inputs, upgraded pet filters, reorganised account profile page, and avatar-only navigation bar.

Medication tracking launched with start and end dates, repeat schedules, and email reminders. Events timeline, dashboard, and calendar updated to include medication information.

A Calendar page is now available, showing all pet events, due dates, birthdays, death anniversaries, and document expiry dates across all your pets and shared pets.

Per-pet and admin-configured healthy value ranges for health metrics, shown as a green band on charts. Health metric charts can now be exported as PDF.

Pet summary PDF export now supports section selection. Gallery management extended to sub-owners. Supplier category dropdown updates dynamically based on the name filter.

Breed support added to pet profiles. Unknown and Mixed breeds are built in for all species; species-specific breeds are managed by admins with user suggestions accepted for review.

Two new features: a Help Centre (Knowledge Base) accessible from the main menu and without login, and a Family Tree tab on each pet showing up to three generations.

Birth, Death, Neutering, and Owned Since are now tracked as events in the pet's Events timeline. These dates are still shown on the Details tab but are added and edited from the Events tab.

Pet Stories redesigned with a dedicated story page, compact card list, collapsible long stories, and a History tab for browsing past months.

Two new mobile gallery features: swipe navigation in the photo lightbox and direct camera capture from the gallery tab.

The vet selection dropdown now shows the branch name alongside the practice name, making it easier to identify the correct location when a vet has multiple branches.

Profile picture support added: upload, crop, and display your avatar in the app header. Initials shown as a fallback when no photo is set.

Pet Sharing allows you to grant a trusted person (family member or partner) full access to view and manage your pet's records, with privacy and security controls.

Pet Stories launched - a monthly community feature where users share pet stories, vote for their favourites, and the most-voted story wins a free month of subscription.

Invite friends and family to GOGI and earn 1 free month of subscription for each person who registers and activates their account - with no limit.

Multiple improvements in this update: friendlier calendar date picker, supplier multi-category support, and alphabetically sorted dropdowns in the user's chosen language.

On the first anniversary of Gogi's passing - 24 April 2025 - we release this app in his memory. A real Jack Russell Terrier named Roger inspired what became a pets assistant for everyone who loves their animals. He is gone but not forgotten.
